Healthy Recipes That Can Help You Lose Weight.

Losing weight is never easy and there’s no one tip that’s going to change that. However, it also doesn’t have to be as complicated a process as many of us make it by counting every calorie or stripping our diet of entire food groups while trying to follow aggressively restrictive diet plans.
Instead of adopting a radical or all-encompassing approach, try adopting a series of healthy habits and making them an integral part of your eating routine. As your good habits start to outweigh the bad, you may well find that losing weight and, crucially, maintaining a healthy weight become natural to you. And you’ll get to keep on eating carbs throughout.
Below you’ll find some recipes that can put you on the path to losing weight. You don’t have to try to take on all at once. In fact, we’d definitely advise against trying that, because you’ll overload yourself and quickly lose motivation. Pick a few to start with that you think you can manage, then keep coming back and adding more in to your lifestyle. Before too long you’ll find that the healthy choice becomes your first choice in all kinds of scenarios, and when you add all those together, you’ll be losing weight without even thinking about it.

1. Motivate Yourself To Lose Weight.
Losing weight is not easy. Probably the best motivational quote for weight loss. It correctly states that you cannot expect your body to change by itself. You have to take the plunge, swim, drown, and float again until you reach your destination. Weight loss is not only about looking good, but it is also how you treat your body and soul. Take a step ahead, decide, plan, and then stick to the plan. It is tough but not impossible. As the quote says, repeat your new and healthy habits day in and day out to attain success. Don’t give up!
2. Drink Water. Increasing your water intake is one of the simplest ways to improve overall health. Drinking more water may also benefit your waistline by keeping you full in between meals and increasing the number of calories you burn. The quickest and easiest way of reducing calorie intake is to drink more water. A study of more than 18,000 adults found that increasing daily water consumption by just 1% resulted in the intake of 70 fewer calories, while drinking three extra glasses lowered calorie intake by 205.
3. Make Your Own Healthy Meals. I could say the struggle is real about this. After getting home from work, it’s can feel damn near torturous to spend even more energy scrounging up a meal, especially one that's healthy and tastes good. (That’s probably why clicking through a delivery app seems so appealing.) Sure, you could go the meal-prep route—but...that's satisfying for about a month, until cooking literally all of your meals on a Sunday starts to sound more painful than prying your eyeballs out with a pair of tongs. (Sorry not sorry—you know it's true.) But what if you did a mix of both? making super-easy (healthy!) dinners some nights when you want something fast and fresh; then preparing others in advance when you just DGAF about cooking. “If you don’t have a clear idea of what you’re eating, you simply can’t stick to the daily limits needed to create a calorie deficit, which is when your body has no choice but to burn fat stores.”
4. Leafy Green. Leafy green vegetables are an important part of a healthy diet. They’re packed with vitamins, minerals and fiber but low in calories. Leafy greens are an excellent addition to your weight loss diet. Not only are they low in calories but also high in fiber that helps keep you feeling full. Eating a diet rich in leafy greens can offer numerous health benefits including reduced risk of obesity, heart disease, high blood pressure and mental decline.
5. Fruits. Most health experts agree that fruit is healthy. Numerous population studies have shown that people who eat the most fruit (and vegetables) tend to be healthier than people who don't.
"Though fruits contain some sugar, you can easily include them on a weight loss diet. They’re high in fiber, antioxidants and various nutrients that slow the rise of blood sugar after meals."
6. Eggs. Once feared for being high in cholesterol, whole eggs have been making a comeback. Eggs are also incredibly nutrient dense and can help you get all the nutrients you need on a calorie-restricted diet. Interestingly, almost all the nutrients are found in the yolks.
"Eggs are very filling and nutrient-dense. Compared to refined carbs like bagels, eggs can suppress appetite later in the day and may even promote weight loss."
7. Sit Down To Eat. Research from Cornell University in the US suggests you’re likely to eat more in social situations – especially at the buffet, or when you’re walking while you eat. If you’re hitting the buffet, use this slim-diner checklist: pick a seat facing away from the food, use chopsticks if there’s an option, and scout out all the food options before you pick up a plate.
8. Apple Cider Vinegar. Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid, a compound that may stimulate weight loss by decreasing insulin levels, improving metabolism, suppressing appetite and burning fat. It’s often used in condiments like dressings or vinaigrettes, and some people even dilute it in water and drink it.
9. Green Tea. Green tea is often associated with health, and for good reason. Not only is it packed with beneficial antioxidants and other powerful nutrients, it’s also one of the most effective drinks for weight loss.
Drinking green tea may help you lose weight by boosting metabolism and encouraging fat loss.
10. Indulge Yourself. “The number one priority in any fat loss challenge is compliance,” says David Godfrey, performance director at one Performance UK. “If you can’t sustain the programme in the long term you’ll never achieve your goal – or you’ll simply rebound as soon as you do. Calculate your calorie target for the week and allow 10% of that to come from your favourite foods. Most people feel like they’re cheating when they eat their favourite foods, so incorporating them into your nutrition plan helps keep you on track without guilt or painful sacrifice. The psychological impact of this is huge.”
11. Beware Of Sugars. These can creep into all kinds of foods that you might not expect to be full of the sweet stuff, like condiments and shop-bought sauces. Opting for foods without added sugar is a must. “Sugar spikes your blood glucose and if you don’t burn it off it’ll be stored as fat.”
12. Seafood. Eating oysters, crab, salmon and tuna, and other copper-rich foods like beef and Brazil nuts, can help you lose fat by improving your fat cells’ ability to regulate metabolic processes, according to a study by Johns Hopkins University in the US. Subjects suffering from low copper levels had “fatter” fat cells, the researchers found, because the deficiency altered how these cells process the storage and burning of fatty acids and sugars.
13. Exercise. Aside from dieting, exercising is one of the most common strategies employed by those trying to shed extra pounds. It burns calories, and this plays a key role in weight loss. In addition to helping you lose weight, exercise has been linked to many other benefits, including improved mood, stronger bones, and a reduced risk of many chronic diseases.
It’s most important to choose an exercise that you enjoy doing. This makes it more likely that you’ll stick to it long term and see results.
14. Weight Loss Pills and Supplements. There are many different weight loss solutions out there. This includes all sorts of pills, drugs and natural supplements. These are claimed to help you lose weight, or at least make it easier to lose weight combined with other methods. They may give your metabolism a bit of a nudge and help you lose a few pounds, but that's where it ends, unfortunately.
“Unfortunately, NO supplement or pill really works that well for weight loss.”
15. Yogurt. It's very nutritious, and eating it regularly may boost several aspects of your health. Certain types of yogurt contain probiotic bacteria that can improve the function of your gut. Having a healthy gut may help protect against inflammation and leptin resistance which is one of the main hormonal drivers of obesity. Make sure to choose yogurt with live, active cultures, as other types of yogurt contain virtually no probiotics.
16. The Illusion. Everyone loads up on food when the plates are bigger – that’s just basic buffetology – but can you use the effect in reverse to trim your waistline? Yes, according to new research published in the journal BMC Obesity. Researchers designed plates designed on the “Ebbinghaus illusion” – the one where the size of surrounding circles makes a central circle look bigger or smaller – and asked volunteers to load up as they saw fit. Results were clear: the group with the optical illusion plates self-selected small portions throughout the test, although they also ate less than the government-recommended amount of veg. The moral? Serve your desserts on the smallest plate possible, and your veg on an oversize platter.
17. Don’t Be Stressed. Whenever we are stressed, we reach out for a cup of ice cream, chocolates, cakes, pastries and what not! Stress leads to emotional eating, and we tend to overeat, which ultimately leads to weight gain. When you workout and eat well you will kick the triggers of the stress out of the window. Be it stress at work or stress of not being able to lose weight, taking stress is not going to help you.
Stressed Spelled Backwards Is Desserts. Coincidence? I think not!
18. Broken Heart. A broken heart can lead to two extremes, either a massive gain in weight or a sudden loss in weight. It actually depends on each individual. There will be group of individuals that will be highly motivated to lose weight and make a change in their lifestyle if they experience a heart break. This is due to the fact that they think positively, and that through the journey they have went through, they realize they there is a need to improve and change himself/herself for the better - starting from the physical aspect. However, this group of individuals are rather rare, but still, they still exists out there.
“If you want to lose weight, You don’t need exercise or diet. Just fall in love with the wrong person.” Many people ask me which diet I am following. But I do not follow any “diet plan.” I lead a healthy way of life. When it comes to losing weight your will power is most important. If it breaks too soon, you will not be able to lose weight. It is tough to endure pain and mental dissatisfaction, but that lasts only a few days. But then you have to train your brain to stay focused and determined. You will develop this skill gradually. It will take time but will give you results in all aspects of your life, not just weight loss.
All The Best!
